Mallorca timetable FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about the Mallorca ferry timetable.
How up to date is this timetable?+
The departures above come straight from the operators' own data and are updated daily. Short-notice changes due to weather or technical issues are announced by the operator first - double-check your booking confirmation again on the day you travel.
Why does the same route sometimes take longer, sometimes shorter?+
Because different ships operate the route. On several Mallorca routes two or three operators share the crossing, and the difference between a fast ferry and a conventional ferry can easily be several hours. So when comparing sailings, look not just at the departure time but also at the journey duration.
Do the ferries run all year round?+
Connections from mainland Spain run all year, with a reduced schedule in winter. Routes from southern France are much more seasonal. Whether a sailing runs on your chosen day is shown in the timetable above.
How early do I need to be at the port?+
This depends on the operator, and it's where most people miss their ferry. Baleària requires at least 90 minutes before departure with a vehicle and 60 minutes on foot; with Trasmed, check-in closes 60 or 30 minutes beforehand respectively. While you're still comparing options, plan around the stricter deadline.
