Getting there & the terminal
In Palma, Baleària checks in passengers at either Estación Marítima 3 or the Dique del Oeste, depending on the sailing. The port is large, so don't rely on the berth from a previous trip - use the location shown on your ticket or departure notification. If you're driving in, follow the signposted lane for your booked operator.
On Ibiza, the Baleària berth is in the Botafoc port area. There too, the exact check-in point on your ticket is what counts.
Check-in
With Baleària, this route generally requires at least 90 minutes with a vehicle, or 60 minutes on foot. For a Trasmed sailing, check the deadline in your booking confirmation. Allow extra time for port traffic and finding the right terminal.
Have photo ID and your boarding pass ready. If you've booked a vehicle, its type and dimensions must match your reservation.
On board
On the fast service, Baleària uses a fast ferry with seating areas, a café, an outdoor deck and digital entertainment. A traditional cabin isn't the norm on the short fast crossing. On a longer, conventional sailing, accommodation and catering can differ - the ship's fit-out shown in your booking is what applies.
Vehicles, bikes & pets
